Agent-to-agent is the only model that actually works in B2B finance
At Taulia we processed $50B a quarter across 5 million suppliers before AI. We could have done 100x that with agent-to-agent.
The entire industry just wants to slap AI onto a workflow and hand it off to someone when they get back on Monday. That is the same broken system as before, just a little bit faster.
Every B2B payment depends on two people trying to reach each other at the right time and come to an agreement. Take someone working at Home Depot and someone working at a supplier. They are trying to clean invoices, negotiate discounts, and approve payment.
But emails get lost, phone calls get missed, people leave at 5pm, they do not work on weekends, and sometimes they go on vacation. Humans miss each other, misunderstand each other, ignore each other. Agent-to-human replaces one side of that. But the other is still on vacation. Still done at 5. Still unwilling to negotiate.
Agent-to-agent is the only solution that scales. Two agents, with full context on both sides, operating with human-defined guardrails. They have no ego, no delays, and no vacations. They reach an equilibrium where both sides agree and money moves quickly and efficiently.
If we had had agents when we were building Taulia, I would not have spent 12 years watching humans chase each other. That is why we are building Causa Prima.
